post of Colonial Treasurer.

2.

The officers whose applications I now enclose are the following:-

Mr Walter Meredith Deane, C.M.G, Captain Superintendent of Police, and at present acting as Colonial Secretary.

Mr. Edward James Ackroyd, Registrar of the Supreme Court acting as Attorney General.

Mr Henry Ernest Wodehouse, Police Magistrate and Coroner, whom I have provisionally appointed to act as Treasurer.
