Stanley Harbour Master's Station
24th June, 1890.
Sir,
I have the honour to report that at 8. A. M. to-day, Chinese Customs people boarded the Kan Wo Li junk, one Fokien junks, concerning which I have reported to you on the 10th instant, at West Point, Stanley, within a line drawn between it and Bluff Head and within the fishing limits in this bay. I went off to the junk, on board of which the Revenue officers were about a quarter of an hour, and was told by the master of the Junk that a European and six Chinese were on the launch, several of whom, including the European, had searched their junk.
I have &c.
Lo. J. Murray Rumsey
