(Che Parl 4 16192 + 1913). 21 seems to me that both parties are right. There might be more uniformity, so as to compare as nearly as possible, & yet no cast iron rigidity. It is most desirable that the curriculum at Victoria College should not be cramped by any Exam.
The exam must fit the school, not the school the exam. Yes, it is desirable that such parts of Victoria College as correspond to other schools should be tested even as they are.
M. Wright's answer (16192) should go to the Gov. (in reply to 17713). But beyond some general remarks in the above scribble, I do not think Lord Knutsford need interfere as present.
