I appointed

pressed upon me a Committee consisting of

the Surveyor General, Mr. Chadwick, C.M.G., and the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon

to consider what site would

be best, and they recommended one

of which I have since approved. The Surveyor General is now

engaged in the preparation of the designs, and when these are submitted the amount

necessary for the building
