Government House, 26th May 1890.

My Lord,

Referring to Your Lordship's despatch No.193 of the 7th of October last, on the subject of the extension of the Drainage and Water Works,

I was to report that the Surveyor General has submitted a draft for the present. In the draft on this subject a promise was made to Mr. Brown by the Government that he would be considered for a contract.

Meanwhile, the Aquamast herein with two copies was sent for Good Kitford's approval. I have thanked him for the draft.
