To work on Sundays seems to me different from admitting, as a matter of principle, that Sunday labour should be formally recognized. Such special circumstances may, no doubt, arise here as elsewhere, which necessitate certain works being done on a Sunday. But this appears to me to be different from making it a condition that Sunday labour is necessary.
On any occasion when it might be necessary to work on Sundays, some special arrangement could probably be arrived at.
