Mr Brown suggests that a Mr W. J. Nicholls, who has of late been superintending the work of a small Harbour at Cyprus, would be a good person to appoint, but should his services not be available that Sir John Coode be consulted as to the selection of a suitable man.
The salary as well as the passage money of the person chosen will be defrayed out of the Praya Reclamation Fund.
