I have with the advice of Executive Council granted Mr. Jennings four months full pay vacation leave and three months leave on half pay, from the 22nd instant; and I would state at the same time that I have no objection to his being granted an extension of the extra period of six months should he apply for it.
Mr Jennings' locum tenens is expected to arrive in the Colony on the 8th June, and arrangements have been made for the performance of his duties in the interval.
