from bringing to Your Lordship's notice the undesirability of a young
man in Mr. Woodcock's
position arriving in the Colony with so
heavy a
debt to start with.
The
pay which he would receive, apart from
any
deductions, is not more
than is necessary for him
in an expensive country
like this, and for
one in his
position to commence
his
career
