Duty Roster

The duty is to keep a Duty Roster and place the same on the Superintendent's Table every morning.

1. Day Nurses. There are two day nurses on duty from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. One will be on duty in Wards Nos 1-6 and the other to be on duty in Wards Nos 7-11 inclusive.

2. The day nurse is expected to make the rounds of her wards with the Superintendent during these visits and shall enter the instructions given by the Superintendent concerning the treatment of the cases in her ward as provided for that purpose.

3. The Native attendants being under the control of the Ward sister, the latter is to report to the Matron on duty any neglect of duty on the part of these attendants.

4. She has the charge of the cleanliness and general superintendence of both furniture and wards, and she is to see that at all times these are kept in perfect order.

5. During her hours of duty she is to occupy the room allotted for her use and to make periodical visits to the wards.
