As the engagement of four additional Sisters would have involved an increased expenditure of over $2,000 for night duties, a difficulty with the Sister from the beginning, but they continued to perform this duty for several months at the end of which they found the strain too much for their numbers and they accordingly applied for an addition of four Sisters to the Staff to enable them to perform satisfactorily their duties.

Two thousand dollars, the question arose as to whether it would not be possible to make other, and under all the circumstances, more satisfactory arrangements, and the Sisters were therefore relieved of their night duties from the 1st of February (temporary arrangements being made) and notice was given of the termination of their engagement.
