the Attorney General White was fired at $1800 "on the occurrence of a vacancy" by the Governor accepting the drop of 10 Dec. No 250(84) the proposal made in Dec of 250/84 (18561). It is true that he did not know of the vacancy till the telegram of 20 Dec. (24252 Honduras). But he might have got the new salary voted long before the arrival of the officer to the Colony - in fact before he left Honduras (24 Jan?).
Perhaps it is not worth while discussing the ? Not their last point.
