I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 21st inst with reference to the British Passenger Act 1855.
The Ordinance of 1889, copy of which you were good enough to enclose for my information, does not seem to render any of the Act obsolete and accordingly steps will be taken for the repeal of any portion except section seven.
