afford every facility for that Officer, in his
Capacity
as
a
member
of
the Local Defence
Committee, to visit the Defences within the
Command. He was at the same
time
informed
that such facilities should obviously at all
times be afforded to the Officer who represents
the
Navy
on the Local Defence Committee, to
enable the Naval authorities to co-operate
efficiently in the defence of the Colony.
