Adversing to letter No. 2500 of the 8th Ultimo from
this Office, I am directed by Governor Sir G.William Dos/ocux
to guato that, having regard to the increasing demand for subsi-
-diary coins, a demand which at the present moment it is not in
car power to meet, it is desirable that the usual regular ann ial
supplies should, for the present, bo increased.
I am therefore to request that, in addition to the extra
supply of one hundred thousand dollars due hore in February next
the future quarterly supplies, including that to arrive in the
first wook in April next, may, until further notice bo two hun-
-drod and fifty thousand dollars. I am to add that the coins
should be in the usual proportions
