This road was much damaged in places culvert and stopped the road another large landslip occurred near the Southern end carrying away a large landslip from the Public Cemetery blocked the portion of a bridge and partially blocked the road. Many of the minor repairs have been completed. Estimated cost of repairs still necessary (not including the removal of the slip and repairs of the culvert near the Public Cemetery) is $780.
9. Pokfulam Road from Pokfulam Police Station to Victoria Gap.
The road and side channels are a good deal cut up and a few small slips occurred one of the culverts requires the side walls repairing Estimated cost $400.
10. Aberdeen New Road from Aberdeen to Victoria Gap. Two of the culverts between No. 3 and No. 4 bridges are blocked and a portion of the road is blocked by stones carried down by the streams crossed by these bridges. A slip about 20 yards in length has occurred near Aberdeen carrying away a portion of the road leaving a very dangerous gap in the road, this has been fenced off. requires a few minor repairs. Estimated cost of repairs $500.
No. 4 bridge 11. Wanchai Gap Road from Aberdeen to Queen's Road East through Wanchai Gap. Eighteen landslips occurred on this road in all there is about 100 cubic yards of debris to be removed and the slopes to be trimmed, the road on the South side of the Wanchai Gap is a good deal

12. Little Hongkong New Road from Little Hongkong to Tytam Road. Six landslips have occurred on this road and there is about 300 feet of the side channel cut down to a depth of five feet. Estimated cost $150.
13. Taitam Road from Taitam Tuk to Wong-nei-chung,
Three landslips occurred on this road partially stopping it. Estimated cost of their removal and making good road $100.
14. Cape D'Aguilar Road from Shaukiwan to Cape D'Aguilar.
Que large landslip occurred on this road, one culvert was destroyed and the road much damaged. Estimated cost of repairs $600.
15. Taitam Gap Road from Taitam Reservoir to Quarry Bay.
Three landslips occurred on this road and it is much cut up the road has already been made passable. Estimated cost of further repairs $130.
16. Garden Road from Kennedy Road to the Albany.
A serious slip has occurred close to the Kennedy Road bridge and another just before reaching the Bowen Road. The road is a good deal cut up in places.
Making good the two slips will have to be considered in connection with the training of the Albany Nullah. General repairs to road. Estimate $100.
17. Peak Road from the Albany to the
Victoria Peak.
No serious damage has been done to this road there are a few holes and short lengths of side channel to be made good and about 200 feet of concrete road near its upper end. Estimated cost $250.
18. Kennedy Road from Garden Road to Wanchai.
Several large landslips have taken place along this road in all about 1,800 cubic yards of debris to be removed and most of the culverts require cleaning out, this work is now in hand. Estimated cost $550. The Kennedy Road bridge over the Albany Nullah was carried away, a temporary bamboo bridge has been erected and the gas pipes made good across it.
19. Magazine Gap Road from the Bowen Road to the Wanchai Gap.
Several landslips occurred on this road a good deal has been done to remove them and repair thy road but there still remains in all about 750 cubic yards of debris to be removed 15 feet of culvert and about 30 feet of a retaining wall to be made good. The clearing and restoration of the road is now in hand. Estimated cost $520.
20. Plantation Road from Victoria Gap Road to the Aberdeen New Road. road was carried away and a culvert destroyed by the landslip from Mount Gough which proved so disastrous to the tramway and other works below. A retaining wall near where the tram line crosses A portion of this has been slightly damaged. Some repairs have already been done. Estimated cost of work still to be done $250.
21. Mount Gough Road from Aberdeen New Road to Magazine Gap Road.
This road is much cut up and a portion uear Magazine Gap has been carried away, the repairs of this portion however devolves on private owners in the vicinity who have erected a temporary bamboo staging for the convenience of passengers. the portion just mentioned) $140.

Nothing of special moment hus occurred to the roads in the Kowloon l'eninsula except at Where the large quantities of red carth washed down from the fortification works now in progress has filled up the main drain for nearly its whole length and blocked Hill Street.
