In requesting your special attention to the
provisions of Army Order 68 of 1889, for regulating
admission to the National defences, Position finding
stations and submarine mining and Torpedo Establishments
I am directed by the Commander in Chief to point

out to you that His Royal Highness holds General and
other Officers Commanding responsible, not only for car-
rying out these new rules in their integrity but for add
ing to their stringency by the issue of any local orders
that may be necessary to meet the special circumstances
of each case.
His Royal Highness has further been pleased
to direct that at any Stations where Brennan Torpedo
Installations are established a book should be kept for
the purpose of recording the admission of individuals
authorised to visit them on pass.
