that the light now shown from Cape D'Agular should be transferred, if practicable to Waglan Island beet having

regard to the superior importance of Gap Rock, they consider that the present character of Cope D'Aguilar Light should be retained at Waglan Island.

Brethren

As regards Gap Rock, the Elder

are still of the opinion expressed in their letter of 16th March last (No. 867) that such an important landfall will best be marked by a pot beder flashing light notwithstanding that it might be necessary to place it at a somewhat greater altitude than a fixed light.
