The following are the qualifications and standard of efficiency required of the Assistant Inspector of Buildings .
1. He should have had expecial expe= rience in Sanitary Engineering.
hav ing served a pupilage or obtained subsequent sanitary experience in a Sanitary Engineer's Office, he should
also have acted as Assistant Resident Engineer on Sewerage Works and have gained some experience in the setting out of works and practical details of construction
2. He should have a good general knowledge of House Sanitation .
