I have laid before the
Postmaster General your letter
of the 11th instant in which,
replying to mine of November last, you
enclose copy
of a despatch from the Acting Governor of Hong Kong relative to the supply of Postal orders to that Colony,
and state that the
Secretary of State would be glad if, for the present, such orders could be sent out half yearly instead of quarterly.
The Postmaster
General
desires me to acquaint you,
for the information of Secretary Sir ... , that instructions
have been given to send out Postal orders half-yearly.
