I am to acquaint you, for the information of the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, that the General Officer Commanding has reported that he has now received the amount of pay sufficient to attract a good class of Recruits, and I am to request that the consent of their Lordships may be given for the insertion in the Royal Warrant of the daily Dollar scale shown in the enclosed statement (omitting fraction in each cent) in substitution for the Monthly Rupee Scale at present provided in the Pay Warrant of 1884.
