With reference to your letter of the 30th August last relative to the raising of a Hong Kong £200,000 Government Loan under "the Loan Ordinance 1886", I have the honour to report for the information of the Secretary of State, that on the 26th Ultimo, we invited by advertisement, tenders for the amount of 4 per cent Debentures, and on the same day opened the tenders received.
