Dear Gillies,
Herewith the Plan of McDonald's Ship Job. I have purposely not shown the encroachment referred to on it, I thought should the Surveyor General either hear or see them,
the Government would immediately take a strip of ground equal in area to the encroachment, for the widening of Whiter Street, they will know nothing about it however if it is not shown on the plan.
I have it on my own survey which I shall be glad to show you at some time, when I think you will better understand my meaning.
