I beg to report that the draft conditions of Grant-in-aid which I drew up in connection with the application of the Basel Mission for a grant towards enlarging and improving their school require modifications before it can be expected to prove acceptable to the Educational Agencies of the Colony.
I beg therefore to recommend that the Crown Attorney be authorized to alter the conditions of Grant in the presence of the rough draft which I herewith enclose for the consideration and revision of the Government, and which when approved will hereafter be used as a standard form in the case of similar applications.
