Magistrate finds that the warrant is still sufficient to detain the prisoner, the Case must go on.

Sir Edw J. Ackroyd,
Acting Attorney General.
9th September, '87.

To the Acting Police Magistrate for his consideration.

87 Fr Stewart,
Actg Col: Sec. 9th Sept. 1887.

A.G. states that if the warrant Cave of the 9th of August is valid, the Case will have to be proceeded with, the Acting Attorney General states that the Warrant was perfectly valid.

I conceive it therefore to be my duty to proceed with the Case it refers to.

At the same time I should be glad to learn whether there was any, if so what special failure to substantiate the charge brought before me on the 23 ult., as the information might prove serviceable in considering the present Case.

57/NGallitshell-Imes,
Acting Police Magistrate.
9th September, 1887.
