opinion that a false charge had been brought against the accused or that false evidence had been adduced,
the Government was not to allow any further charge to be instituted against him. If such is the decision of the Council it might be communicated to the counsel.

The Rendition Case.
Referring to my application of the 2nd Instant for the detention of the prisoner being Sam Shave, I have the honour to state for His Excellency the Governor's information that the fate of the probability in all case will be decided at the sitting to take place before the Chief Magistrate at 11.30 AM to-morrow the 9th instant.
Mr C. Maclean, Acting Police Magistrate, having found it was easy to appeal to His Excellency to exercise the special powers vested in him by the Rendition Ordinance.
