On a Bill of Exchange drawn out of and payable on demand in transit for signature.
Documents relating to rights or property out of the Colony, which are merely sent here for signature, when such Bill of Exchange is negotiated within the Colony shall be two cents.

The duty on a Deed of Reassignment Confirmations, where no money consideration or a nominal money consideration merely passes, shall be $10 in cases where such Deed of Assignment is merely confirmatory of a Reassignment on which the full Conveyance duty has been paid.
The Collector of the Stamp Revenue shall, unless the two deeds referred to in the foregoing paragraph are comprised in one and the same document, cause by an entry under his hand made upon the Deed stamped with the $10 that the full conveyance duty (if more than $10) has been paid upon the other.
Duly drawn and are not intended to be acted upon or brought into force within the Colony, shall be exempted from Stamp duty.
5. Commencement of Ordinance, into force.
This Ordinance shall come into force on a day to be named by the Governor.
