I have to acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your despatch, dated yesterday, enclosing certain certificates concerning one Marie Janze, an inmate of the Lunatic Asylum at Hongkong.
With reference to the correspondence passed between your Office and my predecessor in this Consulate, I beg to state that I have reported the matter for consideration and decision to the Imperial Government at Berlin, shortly after my arrival, and shall now forward home copies of the various certificates.
