reclamation works referred to in Sir William Marsh's
Despatch N. 138 of 16th April last, and your despatch N. 86
of the 6th June last, sanctioning
the scheme.

The whole expense
connected with these two
men will not fall on this Government, as there are
other reclamation works
on hand
in the same neighbourhood,
the owners of
which will pay
their proportion of the
cost
as the work has to be
done under Government
Superintendence.
3.
I enclose the usual Particulars
of Office, and
would beg that the men
be sent out as soon as
possible.
