The humble Petition of Jaw of Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong

Your Petitioner is the Manager of
the Wing Hat shop of No. 67 Bonham Strand, Victoria aforesaid,
of which shop Lau Shing and Ham Jun are the Owners and partners.
The said Lau Shing and Ham Jun are at
present absent from the said Colony.
On the 8th January 1886 the said Lau Shing and Ham Jun caused two civil Summons to be issued out of the Supreme
Court of this Colony,
one against Kam Jie for $200 and the other against Au Mui for $400, and judgments were on
the 15th January 1886 given in favor of the Claimants for the
amounts of their claims.
Executions on the said judgments
duly issued and on the said 15th January Prohibitory Orders were served in both Suits on the Acting Consul for Germany in the said Colony, whereby he was prohibited from parting with certain property and proceeds of the defendants thereto, which belonged to the defendants.
