Gentlemen,
With reference to the letter from this department of the 18th of April, I am directed by the Secretary of State for the Colonies to inform you that he approves of your paying from Hong Kong funds to Mr. A. J. Grey, late of the police force of that colony, a pension at the rate of four hundred dollars per annum from the 11th of February last inclusive.
