I have the honour to enclose a copy of a minute by M. Mivie, the Acting Registrar of the Supreme Court, on the subject relative to the delay in dealing with the Estate of George Frederick Pinker,

I have the honour to be, Sir, Your Most Obedient, Humble Servant,

(Copy.)

Enclosure.

C.O. 15759

RECEIVED AUG 87, 253

Minute by the Acting Registrar of the Supreme Court.

Registry, Supreme Court, Hongkong, 20th June, 1889.

I received the cheque from the Bank, and can only repeat that I wrongly calculated the amount. Although it might have been better to have remitted a portion of the money at once, I considered it more convenient to make one remittance, and close the account, and so waited for Mr Bevis' return from Manila. Of course, I much regret the delay, and expressed such regret to Messrs. Wilson, Dean, & Master.

(Signed) Alfred G. Nose, Acting Registrar.
