I am acquainted with the prisoner who is charged in this case under the name of Isary as chun on the 3rd October. I first knew him on the 6th January 1884 when he came to rent a room from me on the said top floor of No. 61 East Street.
The said prisoner then informed me that his name was Lezing a fu and I have since always known him by that name and no other.
