I ask if I may be informed if His Excellency the Administrator intends to make or has made my action in the rendition Case, which His Excellency condemns, the subject of report or comment to the Secretary of State for the Colonies.
F/4. EModehouse, Police Magistrate.
I had hoped that the points of difference which had arisen might adjust themselves without the necessity of troubling you on the matter; but as after waiting for several days no ausives (replies) has been received, I can only come to the conclusion that I am not to be allowed to be acquainted with His Excellency's intentions, and I think it right therefore to lay my case before you.
I have the honour to be, Your most obedient servant,
H. Wodehouse Police Magistrate.
