Particulars of the office of Local Sanitary Surveyor, Sanitary Branch Public Works Department, Hong Kong.
The Candidate should hold a Surveyor's Certificate of Competency from the Sanitary Institute of Great Britain.
His duties will consist mainly of the supervision of the proper construction, trapping, and ventilation of house-drains to be carried out by the Colonial Government at the cost and charge of private house-owners, and the supervision of the extension and structural improvement of all public main drains and sewers, as well as all other structural works of a sanitary nature undertaken by the Public Works Department in connection with the sanitary reforms in Hong Kong.
