Adverting to my letter No. 16 of the 7th of February last with reference to the appointment of a Sanitary Surveyor, I have the honour, by direction of the Board, to enquire when the officer appointed may be expected to arrive in the Colony.

In view of the enormous amount of sanitary constructional work requiring urgent attention in every quarter of the town, independently of the proposed New Public Health Ordinance, the Board is most anxious to have the advantage of the services of the Sanitary Surveyor at the earliest possible date, and therefore to express the hope that...
