The customary Report of the Acting Attorney-General is
annexed, to which I beg to call attention for explanation of
why this Ordinance has been continued for one year. I have the honour to be,

REPORT BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ON ORDINANCE NO 2 OF 1887
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE,
21st April 1887.
"I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
"French Mail Steamers Ordinance Continuation Ordinance, 1887;"
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.
This Ordinance continues until the 10th September 1887, the provisions of Ordinance No 6 of 1880. The Secretary of State in his despatch dated the 17th November 1886, No 59, directed that an Ordinance should be
passed continuing the privilege
