MiWingfield. Acc. to the Bluebook for 1885, an average of 530 prisoners gave only 262 feet of space to each prisoner during the hours of sleep, passages & corridors not included! The number of prisoners being 559, it is absurd to say the prison is not overcrowded. The power is directly the favour I hold as a check, the flagging of an argument against improving the accommodation. ? Send a copy of this
