Beech Bublina, a candidate of the 70s Triad, was built from 75%.
Four male bundles. Foreigners escaped from the Constable. Cho A-pine, when arrested, had a large quantity of valuable clothing and a loaded revolver with about 40 rounds of ammunition in his possession. He was charged with unlawful possession of a deadly weapon and being in possession of a firearm without being the holder of a night pass.
When all were brought before the Court, Cho A-pine's defenses, after several remands, resulted in a fine of $50.00, which was paid at once. I am told that Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 5 were in his company and came by chance. They, along with a number of other men, are said to have plundered a very rich gentleman's house at Kwai Chan Sun Tak, and carried away clothing, jewelry, and money to the amount of $3,000.
No. 5 was one of the leading members of the gang. They are said to have escaped from the Jai Leung City Gaol, Kwai Chan Sun Tak, about 12 months ago. There was a reward of $2000 for No. 6, Mak Kwong alias Agan Kwong.
No. 10 was arrested on 6th October last for robbery and violence against a person, but it was a false charge. The complainant was an informer from Canton who came here to watch his movements, known to Nos. 7 and 10. They met on the street, and No. 10, with some friends, attacked and severely beat him.
The case came before the Court, but the complainant did not appear and returned to Canton at once. A short history of this man's career was published in "Na To Yat Po" on the 7th of September last. I think his case has been submitted. Nos. 11, 18, 29, 30, and 39 are said to be leading members, but they do not live here in a body; two or three stay at different places and meet at a certain time and place.
