I have the honour to state that I have two main reasons in desiring the asked for information.
1. To ascertain whether the syllabus of Chinese set by the Board of Examiners is the same as that set by the Examiners for the Central School.
2. To ascertain whether a Civil Cadet, not a Cadet to certain conditions, can qualify for positions in the Public Offices in this Colony for which at present Cadets alone appear eligible.
