Framport already incurred, and of which an account is enclosed, may therefore be recorded and credited to Naval Funds.
It is understood that the cost of the land and water transport of these stores after they have been arranged for in the Colony are received at the same manner and the cost credited to Vote 10, Army Funds, and I am to request that you will be so good as to report if this is the case.
I am to add that, in reference to previous correspondence, the charge against the Colony must in no case exceed the Estimate of £116,000, and that if it should be necessary, works of minor importance must be omitted in order that the limit may not be exceeded, a full report on the subject being furnished to this Office.
