case, the opium which forms the
subject of the process cannot be
considered as privileged.
I have therefore to request
that H. E. will make a representation
on the subject, and
to the German Govt. express the hope of H.M. Govt. that the Imperial Govt. will instruct the
Acting German Consul to offer no further obstruction to the process of the Court,
