the dytam water works, and looking to the attempts which have been made by the Public Works Department. to put a stop to the introduction of Cement from England, and to the fact that the support of the Colonial Government, as the only large consumer of cement in the Colony, would be essential to the success of the proposed Enterprise. The apparent connection with it of one of the principal Public Works officers, appears to require careful investigation.
