Herewith I send details of Water Works' tunnel headings in hard rock, of similar dimensions on cross-section - the Sewerpool Works let - progress - the Manchester Works
The costs and prices are given to contrast with the costs of similar works at Gyltam.
It will be seen that the costs are very much in excess of the English work. It may be reasonably expected that Colonial Works shall be in excess of similar works in England or North Wales, but I must confess the difference is more than...
