Memorandum.
Government Civil Hospital.
Hongkong, 5th October, 1886.
Sergeant Baboo, and his Chinese cook were admitted to Hospital about 10.30pm. on the 12th instant, something taken with their dinner having apparently disagreed with them. Their symptoms were slight and almost entirely disappeared after vomiting.
They slept all night and appeared perfectly well next morning, when they would have been discharged, but they found themselves very comfortable and asked to remain another day.
The Wardmaster on duty admitted them.
Dr G B Jordan,
Acting Colonial Surgeon
