That the Government Analyst be instructed to analyze 2 samples of milk which were delivered to him yesterday afternoon by Inspector Clerihew from five cases.

Typhoid fever has lately occurred in two separate families obtaining their milk supply from the dairy from whom the sampled milk in question were obtained, and the object of the analysis is to ascertain whether the milk supplied by the dairy is adulterated or otherwise.

I have the honor to submit this for approval.

Noted. With a view to prevent adulteration special attention will henceforth be given to milk sold by dairy and it is requested that the Government Analyst receive instructions to analyze and report upon all samples of milk sent to him by this Department. Every care will be taken that no unnecessary analyses are asked for.
