wall along a cliff upon the Northern face of which the Government Civil Hospital buildings stand, has been constructed and completed.

A serious land slip took place in this locality after one of the heavy rain storms in July last, and the Surveyor General pointed out that it would be necessary to construct a granite retaining wall to put the Hospital as well as the buildings in Queen's Road below, beyond the risk of danger from a further land slip which might take place.
