25th October With 2 plans and an Appendix: if the dam were to be raised a further height of 10 feet, which, however, Mr. Price does not recommend, the volume of water will be increased to 525 million gallons.
The addition of 10 feet which Mr. Price recommends, could no doubt be carried out at any time, but if done while the workmen are still on the spot, he states that the cost will not exceed the figures estimated; whereas if new mechanics have to be engaged and a camp built for them, the cost...
