providing for the registration and preservation of books published in this Colony similar to Ceylon Ordinance 1 of 1885.

I note that it is not desired that every book registered in the Colony should be transmitted to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, but that such copies might be sent direct to the British Museum.
3.
The Acting Attorney General is preparing with a view to introducing a measure similar to the Ceylon Ordinance during the next Session of the Legislative Council.
