I have the honour to apply for an increase of salary, in the hope that a consideration of the facts herewith submitted may induce His Excellency the Governor to grant me such an increase, in the shape of personal allowance or otherwise, as will meet the merits of the case.
2. I enclose an Extract from the Blue Book for 1885 showing that, since my income is virtually much smaller than that of the Head Master, the Second Master and even the Third Master of the Central School.
I further enclose an Extract from the published Annual Report of the Education Department.
